Historical reports

Report structure

Dated Markdown under docs/benchmarks preserves the purpose, revisions, environment, inputs, commands, raw results, and interpretation. Baseline-candidate deltas appear only there.

Quality reports include case-level dispositions and unclassified counts.

Site snapshot

The site exports only the fields consumed by charts into site-morphology.json and site-search-baseline.json. Each snapshot retains its source revision and report SHA-256.

The current-results route reads that snapshot and does not copy dated report lists into the main narrative.

Retention contract

Unfavorable results, rejected experiments, and measurement noise remain in reports. Experimental instrumentation need not stay in product code.

The current README and technical documentation describe only the present contract, without prior-state or improvement narratives.
