KOREAN MORPHOLOGY · SCOPE
Grammar coverage
Supported scope
Coverage includes major nominal particles and allomorphs; common terminal, connective, adnominal, and nominalizing endings; prefinal endings; major irregulars; and registered derivation.
Each rule has a stable ID plus canonical positives and crossing or hard negatives.
Bounded rules
Particle and ending chains, derivational affixes, and compound continuations use closed transition tables. The engine does not generalize unknown lemmas or paths that lack observed source components.
Full-POS and enriched resources broaden coverage without changing transition semantics in the core grammar engine.
v:걷다 matches the registered standard inflection 걸어. The misspelling 거러 and arbitrary forms absent from rule data do not match under the default robustness=off behavior.
Non-goals
Universal neologism inference, spacing correction, semantic disambiguation, and whole-sentence morphology are outside scope.
A raw FN reviewed as out of contract is excluded from contract FNᶜ. Every disposition needs case-ledger evidence, and unclassified FNs cannot be hidden.
