Prefinal endings

EP marks honorific 시, past 었/았, retrospective 더, and conjectural 겠 before final endings. 먹었겠지만 is 먹/VV+었/EP+겠/EP+지만/EC.

A transition table bounds their order. Repeated EP does not permit arbitrary permutations.

v:먹다 matches 먹었겠지만, where past precedes conjectural, but not the reversed 먹겠었지만, which has no generated transition path.

Final endings

EF terminates, EC connects, ETN nominalizes, and ETM adnominalizes. 먹는다, 먹으면, 먹기, and 먹는 close in different final states.

After a final ending closes the chain, only permitted particles or punctuation boundaries may follow. Ending concatenation is bounded.

Ending chains

The generator separates stem alternation from ending transitions and then assembles surface forms. Identical surface forms from several grammar paths merge their origins.

A plausible chain absent from rule data is not generated. Coverage additions include both fixtures and rule IDs.
